Congratulations Leah and Joel
And now I will show you the most excellent way. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
From this day on, your lives are to be intertwined. In your vows today, know this - that you are promising to do all in your power, as you trust God for His empowerment, to keep your love as fresh and strong as it is today. There will be a need to put your separate lives and any mistakes of the past behind you today, and to start with a clean slate, a new life together. Trust the God of new beginnings for this, and today you will begin to build new memories...wonderful memories.
Leah and Joel committed themselves together in marriage on December 31st, 2017 in Shell Beach, California. Their intimate ceremony was held on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Oceano with Pismo Beach in the background, and was attended by a group of their closest family and friends. The day could not have been more beautiful - with sunshine and laughter, tears and love.
The ceremony was officiated by Joel's grandfather, who imparted on the couple the importance of a life lived not only with love, but a true understanding of what love is and what it requires. "Your wedding day is not just a ceremony, it is the beginning of an ongoing and deeper committment to each other," he said. And it is true that love, the most coveted of all human experiences, is one that brought Leah and Joel together, and through their vows, bonded them forever as husband and wife.
